Our Services & Technology

Comprehensive Eye Exams

Dr. Waguespack offers a very comprehensive eye examination. This includes testing (refraction) to determine the appropriate lens powers to compensate for nearsightedness, far sightedness and astigmatism. The examination also includes a thorough eye health evaluation (usually done through a dilated pupil) to rule out conditions such as cataracts and glaucoma as well as systemic diseases like high blood pressure and diabetes.

Contact Lens Services

Dr. Waguespack specializes in difficult contact lens fits. Our office has had wonderful success with dry eye patients as well as post RK, lasik patients, presbyopes (over 40), children and teenagers.

Glasses & Frames

We offer an excellent selection of fashion frames in our optical boutique, and we carry the latest frames and lens materials based on your lifestyle needs. We will guide you in selecting the most attractive eye wear that fits your face. Unlike chain stores, our opticians will special order the correct frame size if necessary and will order a frame in different colors for you to evaluate, with no obligation to purchase.

Surgery Co-Management

Dr. Waguespack routinely screens patients for laser refractive surgery & premium intraocular lens implants and can answer questions regarding the procedures. Dr. Waguespack consults and directs you to a qualified surgeon for the procedure and performs all pre- and post-operative exams.

Special Testing

Our office has the latest technology to screen and test for eye diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration and cataracts.

Treatment for Medical Services

Dr. Waguespack provides medical treatment to patients for a variety of eye health conditions. She is licensed to diagnose and treat eye infections, seasonal allergies, and glaucoma. Emergency patients are always seen on the same day as promptly as possible.

Low Vision Aids

As an InfantSee provider, Dr. Waguespack routinely performs free screening exams for all infants up to the age of twelve months. Older babies as well as children of all ages are welcome.
